Jocelyn Bestic

Jocelyn Bestic is thrilled to serve on the board of directors for Genuinely Joey in the role of secretary. She is deeply passionate about helping individuals overcome trauma and rediscover their personal voice, strength and sense of personal power after navigating challenging life circumstances. With a rich background as a former English teacher and vintage store owner, who now enjoys connecting with her community through her work at the local public library, she brings a compassionate approach and a genuine commitment to uplifting others.

Jocelyn’s areas of focus include healing through self-care and mindfulness, as well as supporting others in retraining their inner voice into one of confidence and positivity. She believes wholeheartedly in the transformative potential of joy—encouraging everyone to embrace silliness, laughter and lightness even in the midst of life’s difficulties. She is honored to bring her passion, lived experience and heart for healing to the mission of Genuinely Joey.
